Your health and safety have been the utmost priority as we have considered how best to move forward during the COVID-19 pandemic. We have been closely monitoring the situation with the help of local and state authorities while also watching the response of other large scale public events with a similar capacity.

Due to the nature of our event, there are a few factors that make Friends of Charity Auto Fair (FOCAF) unique to other large gatherings. Since we host an outdoor event and our venue capacity at the Raleigh County Memorial Airport is expansive, we will be able to practice any social distancing protocols in place at the time of the event more effectively than would be possible at most other gatherings.

Unless more restrictive orders are in place by local, state, or federal agencies, or there are other unforeseen health and safety concerns, FOCAF will plan on welcoming car enthusiasts, patrons, and concert goers as usual while implementing all preventive measures recommended by the Raleigh County Health Department and any other relevant health agencies consulted.

Proceeds of the Friends of Charity Auto Fair support both Hospice of Southern West Virginia and Brian's Safehouse.

In the case that the 2022 event is forced to cancel due to state or local restrictions, we would prioritize refunds, or a portion thereof, to all ticket holders. Due to the important nature of this fundraiser to the aforementioned organizations and those served, and in light of the preparation efforts of our vendors and volunteers for such a large-scale event, postponement will be the preferred option rather than cancellation should an unforeseen circumstance arise. Postponement, when able to be done within a reasonable time frame that does not compromise the event’s integrity, will not translate as a canceled event.

We will continue to exercise caution and monitor the ongoing COVID-19 situation. As we navigate toward a new normal, we are excited about the opportunity to return to the Raleigh County Memorial Airport this summer. Despite the uncertainties we have each faced, we look forward to celebrating another great event with the community.

Please feel free to reach out to our team with any questions or concerns. Thank you for your continued support.
