The Friends of Charity Auto Fair is bringing even more family fun to this year’s event with the all-new The Family Fun Zone — a high-energy area designed especially for kids and families to play, explore, and make memories together. Kids can play all day for $5/child.

​

Located near the entrance to the Raleigh County Memorial Airport, The Fun Zone will feature lots of fun inflatables throughout the weekend and 9-hole mini golf on Saturday.

FEATURED ATTRACTIONS INCLUDE:

  • Rock Climbing Wall

  • Bounce House

  • Wet/Dry Combo Inflatable

  • Obstacle Course

  • Basketball Challenge

  • Mini Golf (Saturday only)

Children participating in inflatable attractions will receive a wristband after a signed parent/guardian waiver has been completed.

PIT CREW BLASTER ZONE - FREE!

Gather up the kids and their Nerf blasters and enjoy a fun day of running around our car show themed obstacle course. Parent’s must sign a waiver before kids can enter the zone. Kid’s entering this area will have a Pit Crew Pass.

  • Recommended for ages 12 & under

  • Foam dart blasters only

  • No hard projectiles or modified blasters permitted

  • Participants must follow all staff instructions while inside the arena

NEXT-GEN AUTO FAIR - FREE! 

Get ready for one of the newest additions to the Friends of Charity Auto Fair — the Next Gen Auto Fair! Kid’s entering this area will have a Pit Crew Pass.

​

This interactive kid’s area brings automotive-themed fun to life with activities designed especially for younger Auto Fair fans. From Power Wheels cruising to RC car racing and tire roll competitions, kids will have their own chance to experience the excitement of Auto Fair weekend.

PLANNED ACTIVITIES:

  • Bicycle Decorating & Parade (11 a.m.) (recommended ages 12 and under)

  • Power Wheels Show & Cruise (12 p.m.) (recommended ages 3 to 8)

  • RC Car Race Zone (1 p.m.) (recommended ages 5 to 12)

  • Tire Roll Challenge (2 p.m.) (recommended ages 5 to 12)

A custom grass track and activity course will create a fun and safe environment for kids to participate throughout the day. Activities may be grouped by age for safety and participation purposes.

FAMILY FUN ZONE PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES
To help provide a fun and safe experience for all participants, please review the following before attending. Independent vendors (inflatables and mini golf) may have their own rules and waiver.

Next Gen Auto Fair

Power Wheels Parade & Cruise In

  • Recommended for ages 3–8

  • Battery-powered ride-on vehicles only (6v, 12v, or 24v)

  • Vehicles must operate at the manufacturer’s intended speed

  • No modified or high-speed vehicles permitted

  • Participants may be grouped by age for safety purposes

  • Awards

    • Best Classic Ride

    • Best Custom (stickers, paint, lights, etc.)

    • Best Theme (police, princess, racing, etc.)

RC Car Race Zone

  • Recommended for ages 5 to 12

  • Grass-safe and family-friendly racing only

  • Participants must remain within designated activity areas

  • Event staff may group racers by age or participation level

  • Awards

    • Fastest Lap

    • Best Design

Bicycle Decorating & Parade

  • Recommended for ages 12 & under

  • Non-motorized bicycles only

  • Helmets are strongly encouraged

  • Awards

    • Most Creative

    • Most Colorful

    • Best Theme

Tire Roll Challenge

  • Recommended for ages 5 through 12

  • Tires will be available to choose from

 

General Information

  • Parent/guardian supervision is required

  • Signed waiver required for participating children

  • Event staff reserve the right to restrict participation for safety reason
